The Cyprus Theatre Museum is located in the Panos Solomonides Cultural Centre. The museum contains a permanent selection of costumes, prop, sets and costume designs and photos. The aim of the museum is to take visitors on an exhibition of Cyprus’s Theatre Culture and History. The visitor can also dress up, go up to a small stage to present, alone or with others. In fact, a lighting console is available to visitors, who can even adjust the lights.
The Museum was recently recognised for the architectural design of the permanent exhibition at the A ’Design Award 2020. Design is by Skevi Farazi at S_FARarchitecture. The museological study is by Sofia Antoniadou and the Lighting Design was by Archtube.
