Established in 2008, Archtube is dedicated to the art and science of architectural lighting and design. Light is an integral architectural element of any space and vital to the human experience of the activity taking place within it.
It does not only illuminate but affects the way we function and emotionally experience that space. Light can either be a decorative design element to be enjoyed visually, or an inconspicuous architectural mechanism, to be felt.
The detailed study and utilization of factors such as materials and surfaces, indoor and outdoor spaces, natural and artificial light, reflections and refractions, is crucial to the successful development of a comprehensive lighting design.
